Understanding and supporting infant and child mental health

MyIntegra, Parenting Research Centre & Emerging Minds, Australia, January 2026

All practitioners who come into contact with children and families have a role to play in supporting the mental health of infants and children. More than any other age group, children’s mental health is dynamic and is influenced by individual factors, their relationships, and the environments in which they live, play, learn and grow.

Held in January 2026, this webinar was hosted by MyIntegra in partnership with Emerging Minds and the Parenting Research Centre. Aimed at supporting practitioners who work with children and families, this webinar focused on building practical, evidence-informed approaches to child and family mental health.

  • Discusses the child mental health continuum and explore it in context of The Whole Child concept
  • Explores what supports positive child mental health
  • Explains the parent-child loop
  • Introduces and explain the PERCS Conversation Guide, a psychosocial tool that supports strength-based conversations with parents
