Resources for practitioners supporting CALD children and families

It’s important for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) children and families to be able to access the support they need. As a practitioner, you can help support CALD children and families through strong cross-cultural communication and by understanding barriers they might face.

Emerging Minds has created a range of resources that explore ways of working with CALD families to support children’s mental health and wellbeing. These resources include free online courses, podcast episodes, practice papers and more.

Online learning

Our CALD pathway is for anyone who works with children or parents from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds. Featuring two free online courses, the pathway is designed to build your confidence in working with families who have a culture that is different to your own.
