New video from Emerging Minds Families: How I get through tough times

Children are often the experts when it comes to managing their stress and finding ways to regulate their emotions. It’s important for parents to notice, and if possible, support healthy activities that help their child feel better or more calm, express their emotions safely, and connect with people or places that support them.

 

Emerging Minds Families invited children in an art group to draw what they do, or things in their life that they use, to help them to cope with challenges and feel positive feelings. We encourage you to share this resource with families you are working with to explore how a child may cope in challenging times.
