This eLearning course produced in New Zealand refers to ‘HEEADSSS (Home, Education/Employment, Eating, Activities, Drugs and Alcohol, Sexuality, Suicide and Depression, Safety) Assessment’. It provides an introduction to the HEEADSSS assessment framework, which allows for early identification of mental health, alcohol and other drug issues and other information to assist young people in their development.

The course takes approximately four to six hours and is designed for professionals working in Primary Care (e.g. school nurses, school counsellors, youth workers, practice nurses, general practitioners, primary mental health and alcohol and other drugs professionals and social workers).
