Satellite Foundation

Satellite Foundation, Australia

Satellite Foundation (Satellite) is a Victorian not-for-profit supporting children and young people aged 8–25 who have family living with mental health challenges. Satellite uses the term ‘mental health challenge’ for anything that affects mental, emotional or wellbeing. This could be diagnosed or undiagnosed mental illness, family breakdown, anxiety, neurodivergence, loss, grief, intergenerational trauma, alcohol and other drug (AOD) use, gambling, addiction, family violence and everything in between.
Satellite offers free camps, programs, retreats and workshops that explore themes of creativity, mental health and lived and living experience, as well as learning and development opportunities, peer support, engagement, and a sense of belonging and community.
